The world has lost a wonderful priest and an even better man. Mark and I are so sad to hear of his death. We speak of him often and have fond memories of our time with him in Culver. We are honored that he performed our 2nd wedding ceremony for us. Culver has lost an icon...his shoes can never be filled!

Father Jeff was a wonderful man that spread the word of the Lord with meaning that everyone could understand and take to heart. He will be missed by all those he touched. My prayers go out to his family. He was a fixture in Culver and will be missed.
God bless you and keep you,

I came to know Fr. Largent through his service as a Chaplain with ISP and consider him a friend. I shared many laughs and memorable moments sparring with him across the table at the Log House Restaurant while he was riding shotgun with Mstr. Trooper Gruett. A man of great faith and a true example of a dedicated servant of the Lord without a doubt. Fr. Largent will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace Jeff.

Our children attended St. Monica's while Father Largent was pastor there. He had a way with children that made him well-loved by all. I know his sense of humor was a big hit among the school kids! May God bless you all with peace and comfort as you remember his life and his loving contribution to his parish families as well as your own.

My sincere sympathy to Father Largents family. We were so fortunate to have Fr. Largent assigned to St. Thomas the Apostle in Elkhart. He had a gift of making you think with his homilies. He was famous at St. Thomas for his wonderful sense of humor. His memory will always make me smile and his loss brings tears to my eyes. Because I grew up in Mishawaka, I would see him often. When my grandfather at 102 died, Fr. Largent was the pastor at St. Monica's. The mass was beautiful, but the Fr. Largent's homily was priceless, because you knew that he had spent time with my grandfather and made an effort to know who he was as a person. God Bless you Fr. Largent and Thank You for teaching us to be better Christians with a smile on our face.

Fr. Largent was a wonderful priest and joyful person. I was fortunate enough to have worked with him at St. John the Baptist School/Church when he was first assigned there. He was very well loved by all that knew him. Such a sadness came over me upon learning of his death at such a young age. He will always be in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. Prayers also for the family.

A long ago friend told me of Father Largent's passing. I'm not sure why but somehow there's a link. My thoughts are with all. I am so sorry for your loss.

My condolences to the family. Father Jeff was my an excellent priest. I discovered father Jeff and his wonderful disposition when I moved to mishawaka and selected St. Monica's church to attend. When he relocated to Little Flower I switched churches. Very enjoyable to listen to. Finally no more pain Jeff. You are with the Lord.

Father Jeff was at Little Flower Parish here in South Bend. Having moved back home from North Carolina I had many talks with him...loved his Homilies and his total character...I found out that he lived in the same subdivision I lived during our younger days...he told me when my horse was loose, he would take him back to our house...He sure did love Culver! The Lord has called you and you have accepted His invitation! May you rest in peace, now, Father Jeff. And my God wrap His loving arms around your family and friends during this most difficult time!

I am a parishioner at St.Thomas in Elkhart. He was there a short time but made a big impact me. He was so "real", not at all impressed with himself. I have thought of him often thru the years and was praying he was doing well. So it was with great sadness for me that I saw he had passed.but we know he is in no more pain. My condolences to family, friends and St. Mary parishioners.

My deepest condolences and prayers to the family of Father Jeff Largent. He was a great man and will be missed. In fact, after having an interest in the Catholic Church, I attended his catechism classes and decided to convert to Catholicism. Soon thereafter, my dad attended Father's classes and converted, as well. Father Jeff Largent made a huge impact on our lives and we are thankful.

I have since moved to Florida and my dad passed away 2 years ago, so we will not be able to attend, but you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

My condolences to Jeff's family. Having grown up with Jeff at St Anthony de Padua school and parish, I send my sympathies to his family. Jeff was a kind classmate. He has left this world far too early. Over the years I have enjoyed hearing about him from fellow classmates. Rest in Peace.

I want to extend my sympathy to Father Jeff's family. I have only known Father Jeff for a short time. I was his barber at the Head Styling Salon in Plymouth Indiana. I consider him as a heart friend. There was something very special about him. He will be missed deeply. Your family is in my prayers.
