We met John while serving an LDS mission in Plymouth, Indiana in 2008. He was the kindest man . Loved everyone and would open up his home to any and all that needed a place to stay. We cherish his friendship and will never forget the good times we had with him and Margaret Karwatka. We were sorry to hear that he suffered and know that he is at peace and in a beautiful place. He deserves the best place Heaven has to offer. Our condolences to family and friends.

I've known John for 3 years, since I started work at the Poor Handmaids. I returned to work & learned of his passing. I was very sad. He was such a wonderful, wonderful man. I always got a good hug from John. I really enjoyed knowing him & he will be missed terribly. My condolences to his family.
