Sister Magdalen was the Cottage nun when I was in the Baby House. She was a wonderful caring "mother" to me. I was very young and afraid. She made sure I felt loved and safe. I was privileged again in my freshman year to have her when I was in Cottage 40. When we met again at a reunion in Donaldson she remembered me and again showed that nurturing gift she had. She as a beautiful soul. I will always cherish her kindness to me. My prayers are with her family, Sister Magdalen will truly be missed.
