Steve, So sorry to hear of your mothers passing. She was an awesome person who I admired dearly. I played many games of gin rummy with her at Martin Pontiac and shared many laughs and fun moments. Her laugh was infectious and easily recognized. A life spent serving others and being a mother and grandmother. She will missed to say the least. Ed Barcus

I was so sad to hear of Betty's passing. I always enjoyed so much working with her in politics and campaigning. She was a great lady and an asset to Marshall County. She will be missed.

My deepest condolences on the loss of Betty. I most remember her days at Weeks and doing bookkeeping for Steve's Beauty Salon during the time I worked there. She was a real pleasure, a lovely "lady", and a roll model for strong independent women. May she soar with the Angels! RIP

Steve and Susie,
Words alone can not express the sorrow I feel about the passing of your Mother. Her smile and infectuous laugh lit up the room. She was one of the hardest, most dedicated employees I have ever met. She was my mentor in the car business, and taught me so much about working with people. She truly loved her family, especially her kids and Grandchildren.
God Bless you Betty, you made life a fun place to be.

Sorry about Betty.....enjoyed bowling with her, playing cards with her, sorority with her, and her great laughter and wit. She was very accomplished. May all of her family know that she will be thought of often and with great memories.

I was very sorry to hear about Betty's passing. Her and my mother were such long time friends. Mom was saddened when I told her and said, "my Betty?". My sympathies to all in your immediate and extended families. I liked Betty very much, she was definitely a good person. She will truly be missed.

I will miss Betty so very much. She hired me into the recorders office during her last term. She was a wonderful boss. She was always on the go, such an inspiration on how to keep life going and keep busy and doing for others. I will be forever grateful for the wonderful job she gave me. My love and prayers to the family.
