Sorry to hear of the loss, of your mother, Eileen. She will always be in your heart, and thoughts. I have many strong memories of Hugh & Eileen. My Father's best friend was Bob Rodgers, who was Best Man, in my parents wedding. All the years we shared, exhibiting projects in 4-H. Eileen would bring her great fudge brownies, down to Purdue, for her son Dale. I was lucky to get one or two. Showing dairy cows, at the Marshall Co. Fair, we became close friends.

To the Quivey Family, I was saddened when I got the news of Eileen's passing. But I can't help to smile knowing what a wonderful life she lived and shared with us! I am so happy to have attended her wonderful 90th birthday celebration. I am sure she was so happy to have all of her family and friends there. I will cherish wonderful memories since she had a big, big role in forming my faith life. She was a perfect example of a woman of faith and I pray that I can emulate her in that way! Joe and I will not be able to attend her memorial but please know our hearts and prayers will be with you during this time. In Sincere Sympathy, Joe and Barbara Holcomb

So sorry for the loss of your loved one. Death was never part of God's arrangement. God is the creator of life and it sounds like Eileen had a very good life with family of many generations and friends of all kinds.
My hope in sending this condolence is to bring you some comfort from the scriptures. 2 Corinthians 1: 3-4 brings words of comfort from God to you. May God be with you during your difficult time.

Quivey Family, Your mom was a great example to me, and others, at Trinity Church. She was such a faithful follower of God and did everything she could for others. Not to mention her cooking abilities. Whenever something delicious appeared at a carry- in, my first thought was , It must have been made by Eileen. Usually, it was. I will pray for you as say goodbye to your mom, but rest assured, she is sitting at the feet of God. Maybe even cooking?
