Aunt Loretta you will be missed by the family. You fought a hard battle and your little body just wore out. You are now up there with Uncle Don, your brothers and sisters, my parents Walt and Dorothy and Uncle Chet. I know you all will be playing golf which I am sure you have already played the first 9 holes. I have many memories of you as growing up and will keep them in my heart always.

Love you
Your niece

So sorry for your loss, Dan. Your mom substitute taught at St. Michael School some in the 60's. We didn't get away with much. She and Don were also very patient with me when I was learning to golf while playing with them. She was a great gal.

Dear Neighbors,

I just want to express my sincere apology for your loss, but also at the same time, to give you a hope for the future from the Bible. I know it may seem strange to be contacted by a complete stranger, but please be assured, my motive in sending you this message is only to share "good news" with you-Matthew 24:14.

It is understandable if you have a hard time imagining any sort of good coming out of the grief you are now doubt experiencing. However, God's Word holds out much hope for both those who've died and there families. For example, please note what Jesus Christ said at John 5:28, 29. After resurrecting his friend Lazarus, he told the crowds there, "28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.

As we can see from the above verses, the Bible speaks of a time not only when we will see our deceased loved ones again, but also when death will be eliminated completely-1 Corinthians 15:26. God's Word contains many other wonderful hopes for the future. If you would like to learn more about these please email or call me at 574-936-2162.

Your Neighbor,
Ethan

Dan and Kane,
My sympathy to both of you. I can remember seeing Loretta in the halls at Miller's when I went to visit my mother many years ago. She surely has lived there for a long time. I imagine she probably remembered no home except that one.

Dick enjoyed Don in Rotary and met him for golf in Florida every winter while Dick could still play golf. Don and Loretta were a pair and always at all of our Rotary Ladies Nights and other events through many, many years. Time brings changes to all of us. Now they are finally together again.

I remember many years ago how much I loved having Loretta as my 5th grade teacher! She was an amazing teacher. She was a fun teacher who also made sure everyone behaved during class! Lol! She had that look she would give and everyone knew she was serious.
I also remember many many years later seeing this lady walking down the hall at miller's after I had transfered to the facility and I recognized this lady by the back of her head. I called out to her as Mrs. Shuppert and she turned around and greeted me! I had the great privilege of taking care of her for many years. I still loved her humor and her sweetness towards staff and especially the other residents. She was a great friend to my Aunt Bertie while she was at the nursing home. I will always be grateful for that! I enjoyed getting to know Dan and Vera also. Great family ! I am so glad she is at peace now and with her husband in heaven! My sincere sympathy to all of her family!

Just a delightful lady and that was what she always was. There was always that delightful smile, great humor, and the love of her teaching and giving to all.

One day I received a picture from your mom and dad and it was a picture of me on tv. They were watching and naturally I had something to say and there I was! It was a wonderful surprise!

They worked well together, and frankly we shared many common ideas and goals.

God Bless to all.

Dan and Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Loretta's passing. I remember her laughter and the visits she and your dad had with my mom and dad. Many, many, 4-H and FFA memories. She was a kind and gentle spirit and I appreciated her during my FFA years, more than she probably knew.
You will be in my thoughts as heaven gains another angel.

Dan and Vera,

My first memories of your folks was from St. Michael's, where they always sat in the front row. They were a nice looking couple. I remember when your Mom became a resident at Miller's. I enjoyed visiting with her every month and hearing the stories of her years of teaching school. She loved her students. She lived a good long life and now has earned her reward in heaven with your dad. May you receive comfort in the wonderful memories, good friends and your faith.

Our sympathy and prayers,

Dear Dan, Vera and family,
I was so sorry to learn of your Mother's passing. She must have been a lovely lady no matter what challenge she tackled. Her battle with the geese leaving deposits on the lawn made me smile! She and your Dad had "a wonderful life" and were very proud of you to be sure.
I am enjoying my new "job" babysitting for Matt and Whitney's daughter, Graylee Irene. It is wonderful!
With fond memories of our many years at Bremen Middle School.

Dan,
I'm so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. She and your dad were such a large part of our growing and maturing at such an important time in our lives. It always brought back such fond memories any time I would see them on our visits back home to Plymouth. Heartfelt prayers for them and your family.
