Our deepest sympathy is extended to Darlene and family. My personal connection to Gary was preparing his tax return. He was always an astute and organized keeper of records. We shared many pleasant memories of our endeavors. May his soul rest in peace with the Lord.

Dear Darlene, Leslee, Darcee, & Ryan and families, I can't be there today to give you a hug and share in your time of grief yet rejoicing. Your loss here on earth is overwhelming but remember Jesus Himself holds each of you today and always. It is hard to lose your husband, dad, and grandpa. Hold onto the memories for he (Gary) will never be gone from your hearts. Scripture gives us many promises from Jesus Himself that can bring us peace and comfort. In Psalm 34:18 it tells us "He is close to the brokenhearted...". Praying for each of you...love in Christ.

Dear Darlene and Family, Hank and I were so shocked and saddened to hear of Gary's passing so suddenly in December. We wish we lived closer and could see you all to give you giant hugs. Know that we are thinking of each of you, especially tomorrow morning, and sending you peace, strength and sympathy during this difficult time. It will be hard to say "good-bye" to such a wonderful husband and father...he was such a good person. Sending love to you all, Hank and Norm

Darlene and family, I would just like to say that I believe for the work with Right to Life that he shared with you, Darlene, Gary has a special reward:
Matthew 25: 34 - Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ?Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.? ?Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ?Lord, when did we (do these things) to You??
And the King will answer and say to them, ?Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.?

Unto the least ? the unborn ? the King?s little brothers and sisters.

No matter how small or big the effort seemed, Matthew 10:42 - ?.. ?whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water?.. assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.?

To all of Gary?s family, as Carole Drake has so beautifully expressed it, I would add the words of the song,?The Power of His Love.? I pray, ?Lord, hold them close, Let Your love surround them, Bring them near, Draw them to Your side.? I pray the Father will reveal His Presence to you as He gently leads you through these days.

?Power of his Love? is on U tube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ga6Qtxzd6vk

God?s Presence and love,

My heartfelt condolences and love to Darlene; Leslee, Darcee, Ryan, their spouses and children. How blessed you all are to be the family of this special man who loved, cared and prayed for daily. I know you are a family of strong faith and love, and I am sure you will help each other through this difficult time and others that may come. You will also share many future joys.
Gary and I and our brothers grew up together on Monroe Street in Rockford. We shared many "growing up" experiences over the years. I feel blessed to have shared this long friendship and am so happy that it also came to include Darlene and my husband, Harold.
I'm sorry that I am unable to make the trip to Plymouth to attend the service but you are all in my thoughts and prayers and will be for a long time.
Love and blessings to you all,
Bonnie
