So sorry for the loss of both of your parents within such a short time. I was a student of your mom's at the Sewing Nook. She was such a patient lady. Anytime I would see her around town, she always had a smile and inquired about the family. May good memories sustain you during this sad time.

Dear Butler Family,
Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your dear mother.
I first met Velma when I lived on Ferndale Street with my in-laws, while Mike served overseas in the Air Force. She impressed me with her grace and dignity.
I saw her quite often while I worked at City Center News and Books, 2010- 2013. She belonged to a local book discussion group and stopped in to by the latest book for her group. We had many lovely conversations about our favorite books.

Beth, Todd, Kim and Bruce, Larry and I are saddened to read of Velma's passing. In years to come you will realize you are never ready, but when it is time God takes them from us. Larry's Mother passed on Dec. 21 and tho the timing was not perfect, it was the perfect time of year for her. She loved Christmas and( I am sure your Mom did too) and the family was all together. Best wishes to all of you for a Happy New Year and know your Mom and Dad are together once again. Love Sue and Larry.
