Although I didn't have the Earthly privilege of meeting Mr. Ross, I am inclined to believe that I both know and understand the aspects of his life which endeared him to so many. The Bible tells us that, "We will know a tree by the fruit it bears." I, therefore, can love and appreciate "the tree" because I know and love "the fruit." Michael, Jeri, and Tali joined us on life's journey at one of the most precious junctures in the existence of our family - bringing our daughter home from China. Our pilgrimage throughout China placed our tentative footsteps in complete tandem with the Lemkes, and we are forever changed by their love and affection. Mr. Ross's eternal legacy lives abundantly in the smiles, the laughter, and the kindness of his "children." While I am greatly saddened by his untimely passing, I readily join my voice with all well-wishers in declaring that Mr. Ross must have, indeed, been a tremendous father and grandfather. In a fashion that is fitting of the occasion, I forward to all the family my love and best wishes - as well as my thoughts and prayers. I pray for the blessings of peace to fill your hearts in a persistent and pervasive fashion!!

Gary's family:
I am saddened to see of Gary's passing. As a PHS classmate I remember him as a very quiet but always polite and very kind person to be around. I am sorry for your loss and may God bless all of you in your grief journey.

Sharon and Jeri -

What a joy it has been to get to know your family here in Hickory and what a particular blessing it was to know Gary. He was so sweet, gentle and kind even in the midst of difficult times. He truly lived out Ephesian 4:32..."Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you."

And Sharon and Jeri, may Philippians 4:7 now be your comfort..."And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

With Love - Dawn
