Sister Julienne is beloved by all of us who were aspirants and high school students
during her ministry at the VILLA.
She was an inspiration to each of us and a role model for how to love the Lord in whatever we
choose to do in life. May her soul rest in peace as she is greeted by family members and all the
PHJC sisters who preceded her in death and are rejoicing with her in heaven right now.
She will be fondly remembered and missed here on earth.
My sympathy goes out to her family and friends.

My deepest sympathy to Sister Julienne's family and friends and her beloved Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ Community.
I have only treasured remembrances of Sr. Julienne when she first helped and befriended me as a troubled senior at Ancilla Domini High School. And, we have stayed the closest of friends all these years. She leaves a void in my heart and I will greatly miss her. God bless you, Sister Julienne, and...
"may choirs of angels come to greet you lead you into Paradise into the arms of God"
Godspeed, my friend!
Rest in Peace!

I feel blessed that the Lord chose to have my life's path cross that of Sister Julienne's. She began her ministry at St.Joseph's Hospital in Fort Wayne just before I began my journey to become a Pastor at Broadway Christian Church. We became neighbors so to speak as our church is just across the street from the hospital. I spent many hours visiting people in the hospital and Sister Julienne was a constant encouragement to me. Several times when I was faced with challenging visits she sat down with me and talked and prayed. Her spirit enlightened my life and her guidance will always be with me.

Sister Julienne had a special spirit and joy for life. My husband and I met Sister Julienne when we came to share hammer dulcimer music with patients on St. Joe Hospital's rehab. floor in Fort Wayne. My husband transported my dulcimer; and Sister Julienne was our hostess and "guide," taking us from room to room, introducing us and my dulcimer music to each patient. She could brighten every patient, even those who said they didn't want music, and have me playing my dulcimer to the smiles and thanks of patients and often their families. My husband and I looked forward to seeing Sister Julienne each time we came to St. Joe. She always had a smile, a special greeting, and usually a cute little story or comment for us as we began our room to room music visit to the patients. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and we would kid her that no patient would ever turn down her offer of our music because no one could say "no" to a nun, especially Sister Julienne. She made our life a little brighter. We will miss her.

My deepest sympathy to family and friends of Sr.Julienne. I am a nurse at St. Joseph Hospital and have worked there almost 35 years. There has been something missing in the lobby since she left. I am an OB nurse and Sister loved to see the newborn babies. Everytime I dismissed a mother and baby I made an effort to find her because she loved to admire them and Bless them. I still tell my patients about her when I dismiss them. She was a shining light and greatly missed.
