I am in shock and saddened that Stephanie has passed. We were talking about getting together the next time I was in FL. I hadn't seen her since high school and was looking forward to seeing her again. She was a good friend and I'm so sorry that she is gone.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Bergman family. Life is so fragile and we are reminded of that by situations like this one. We pray for God to gift you peace at this most difficult time. We can be comforted with the promise of John 3:16; if we believe in God's son we are promised a place in Heaven. Stephanie is now sharing time with her grandparents, though her not being here leaves a gaping void that is painful. But remember this, if you could see her in Heaven you would not wish her back. She is at peace like she has never known.

Feel the love your family and friends are extending through prayer.

So sorry about the loss of your beautiful daughter. She is the same age as my son, and I can't imagine a greater sadness.

You may not remember me, but I am your cousin--Martha Bergman Miller (who died when I was 2) was my mother. I truly loved Aunt Rosemary and Uncle Jim (I'm sure your daughter is basking in their presence) and wish I was in closer contact with my Bergman family. I would love to have all of my cousins at my home on the St. Joe River in Mishawaka here next summer if you are all in the area. I've even lost touch with Susan (Johnson). Prayers to your family as you deal with your loss.

Mike and Shirley I am so sorry for your loss your daughter was a remarkable women when she smiled it lit up the whole room.I am so blessed to have met her and proud to say she was my friend.May god bless you in your time of sorrow it's not easy losing a loved one especially so young. My personal and OUR thoughts from the entire class of Taft High School are with you and your family. Stephanie was a part of many of us and will be missed. So many fond memories we will all keep of her and so many souls and hearts she touched. I know she is now smiling down at us and in a better place. We only know sadness now, but she made us all smile.
