I will always remember Dan fondly. He was kind. And passionate about cooking. He made me feel welcomed at church. And he made my wedding like a fairy tale with all his fancy desserts. I am praying for you family during this time.

Dear Vicki and Family,
I was so saddened to read about Dan's passing! I am so sorry for this sudden, untimely loss! He was always so friendly and warm, and loved my parents so much. He was a person I could always count on to come and greet me when I visited the church after I moved away. He gave everything he was and had to help others. He will be greatly missed by the community and the Church of the Brethren family!

My sincere sympathy and prayers to Vicky and family on Dan's passing. My late husband, Tom, and I along with 4 others were the founders of the St. Joe County Tea Party and valued the time and effort Dan put into making things run smoothly. He was a great gentleman and Patriot and will be missed.

Respectfully,

Vicky my heart is breaking for you. I dream that Dan is making sweet treats to go with Lloyd's beef & noodles for the Heavenly crowd. I will call you in a week or two, when things have settled down. I haven't changed my Bremen cell#,

So sorry to hear of your loss. While it had been a while since seeing Dan, our families go back a long ways. There were a lot of good times starting with those fishing trips to Michigan, I guess.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

What a great picture of Dan on the Obituary page of this website! Seein Dan's face, humble yet determined, immediately made me smile. Dan and I spent a couple of hours last summer talking in a church parking lot while waiting to meet up with a candidate from going door to door door. I learned a lot about the history of the family business, and the adventures that life had brought the Rensbergers. One thing immensely clear was his love of his family. Plus a dedication to trying to make this world a better place. Even when others were giving up, Dan was still out there doing what he could to help restore our country to its Constitutional basis. So sorry to lose him, but I'm sure God is glad to have him!

I had the good fortune of working with Dan as a Red Cross volunteer. He was quite unselfish in giving of his time to help others. Having witnessed the work ethic of his 'boys' you could tell they had a good role model. Know that Dan will beissed by many more folks than you can imagine.
