I went to high school (Marshall High) with Peter, and grade school also, I think (Sidney Pratt). Not a close friend, but he was an impressive character, on the small side I think, but very sparky and upbeat. I remember being impressed in high school with his strength, watching him do pull-ups by the dozen, while I could hardly do a couple. I picked on him once and made him cry, and have always felt bad for that. I wish I could say now that I am sorry.

We lived near each other; he was on Franklin and Warwick, and I lived on Orlin Avenue in Prospect Park. We shared that world.

A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on.
I worked with and for Peter before he retired and I am thankful for everything he has thought me during that time and all the time he spent on training me.
May the love of family and friends comfort you during these difficult days, my most heartfelt condolences.

I was a supplier to Peter Paul for over 15 years starting with Pies, Inc to Schwans to Zentis. Peter Paul was one tough negotiator but he was always professional, honest and yet personable. My father and I had countless lunches and dinners with Pete but were in his office also when the planes hit on 9-11. Over the years, thru stories, his love for his wife, sons and grandchildren were always his focal point in addition to fishing. He also, which was rare in our industry, took interest in my family and I remember taking time to catch up quite often.

He will be sadly missed. He was a remarkable man and I am honored to have known him.

Pete was my Area Governor in Toastmasters in GA some 8 years ago and encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and compete in my first speech contest. That was the beginning of a new life for me and I wouldn't be where I am today without that friendly push. He will be missed.

Corky, From the Toastmasters in Atlanta, We are so sorry for your loss. Pete opened PB & J with me and became a dear friend. We really missed him when he moved and we talk about him all the time. I just visited his club just last week and spoke about him. I know he loved you very much. He use to share wonderful good stories about you and your family, his tales of fishing and his Bulldogs. From the bottom of my heart we are sorry for your loss.

I just learned of this today. Pete could a little rough on one at times, but always a gentleman. Shared many stories about our boys and fishing.. I hope God puts Pete in charge of buying blueberries in Heaven. I have my order pads ready. I shared notice with several friends today, including Robert Smith from whom Pete did a lot of nut business. Keep the family strong with God's blessings
