Barb, I can't express my sorrow at Mikes passing. My heart is weeping. My sincerest condolences to you, Barb. I first meet Mike and you at a church outing at Center lake in Warsaw, when you were High school sweethearts. I thought that was pretty cool. I lost touch with both of you until I met you and Mike again at the hare scramble cross country races. So much fun. Got turned around in Bourbon one day, stopped at the garage for directions and who was there to help, Mike. He was in my confirmation class @ Calvary Lutheran church, fellow hare scrambler and friend. He always loved chatting with me anytime we met. So many great memories of him are intertwined in my life, I'll never forget him. Gods speed my friend.

Barb,
I was SO very sorry to learn that Mike had passed. I so enjoyed seeing you and Mike at our reunion in September. Please know that I am keeping you in my prayers during this very difficult time. I wish I could be there for the visitation and funeral, but I am 200 miles from you. I will be keeping you close in my thoughts and prayers in the next few days and the days that followed that.

Mike will always be remembered as my high school buddie. His companionship hunting, fishing and just plain hangin' out together meant a lot to me. So glad we got together and talked old times at the reunion;its as thou we never missed a beat,as we had a lot in common. He will be in our thoughts forever.

I wish I could express to you all the appropriate words. All I can say is that I am so sorry, and saddened, for your loss, and that I want you to know that you and Mike still meant a great deal to me.

Barb, Dave and I were so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. We feel blessed to have just seen you two last fall. Mike was still as fun as ever! We loved hearing the old stories of when everyone was young and crazy. Dave is still "wintering" in Florida and I will be attending my nephew's college graduation in Indy on Saturday. I am so sad that we can't attend the service and hug you in person. You know we love you and are sending our prayers to you. May Mike rest in peace. May you feel the love around you during this terrible time of grief.

Barb, my sincere condolences for your loss. Mike was a great guy and no matter how much time had passed between visits, it was always like we'd never been apart. Mike motivated me to lift weights and run 9 flights of dorm stairs when we were at Ball State.

You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I can't be there Sunday as we are babysitting out of town but I certainly will be thinking of you all.

It was a shock to hear that Mike is gone. You had so many years together. Time just flies the older we get. You have our sympathy. The picture of you two is beautiful. Even though we saw you so seldom we had good memories of you both. Our hearts are with you in your grief.

Barb, I am so sorry about Mike. I probably love the story as much as you and Mike did about how I was the first person to walk down the aisle with him. He will be missed

Mike's positive attitude towards every situation was uplifting. Mike seemed to enjoy every mission that he and Barb were on at the time. His ability to see the good in every situation will be missed by many of us!
