I am so sorry for your loss. I volunteer at Pilgrim Manor every Thursday and help with the Men's Club. Roy has been coming to the meetings. He was so sweet and seemed to enjoy the fellowship with the other men. We will certainly miss him.

I want to send my heartfelt condolences to your entire family.
Roy was a very special man to me. He was a father figure to me when I worked for him at the Dairy Queen. He was the best boss ever and I loved working there for him. He was not only a boss but a very special friend.
He sang at my wedding and I was so honored that he did that for me.
I looked forward to receiving his Christmas card every year. There hasn't been a Christmas that I haven't gotten a card and I will miss that this year. I have told myself since Christmas that I was going to stop at Pilgrim Manor and visit and I truly regret that I never made it there.
You will be missed Roy!

I never met your father but heard a lot about him. I never heard an unkind word about him - only good. It showed true through his family. Your loss is his gain, and you all will be in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you at this difficult time.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. I always enjoy hearing mom share memories of him. The one that always sticks out is Gooseberry pie. They both have a fondness for it.
Please know I am thinking and praying for you all during this time.

Dear Reed Family,
My sincere sympathy to you in the passing of Roy.. I was in Florida visiting my folks and my son when this happened and did not get the news till I returned home. Im sure sorry I was not able to attend the memorial service. Your parents meant a great deal to me and my family. And of course was so blessed to have them both work for me for a few years.. I can always remember some great Roy and Esther stories, and will never forget Esthers chocolate chip cookies and Roys pies.. We are never ready to lose our parents.. And I was aware that Roys health was a challenge.. Please know that I will always treasure fond memories of the many Christmas parties that they attended while working for me,and the great dedication to the job.. That's a generation that taught us all what hard work and diligence was all about.. And the true value of family.. A memorial was sent to the LaPaz Lions in memory of Phils scholarship... A beautiful tribute.
Again, my sincere thoughts to all the family.
Kind Regards, Bruce Albert
