The world has lost a wonderful woman.
Laura was a wonderful and caring woman who helped countless clients through extremely difficult situations.

My family has been extremely fortunate to have been able to know her and have her share her wisdom with us.

I know Laura will continue to guide those who need her from above.

Mark,

I was very sorry to hear about your mom. I saw her early seeing her this fall but I'm not sure where it was. I hope you can find comfort in your memories of her. I have good memories of both you and your mom from your days at PHS.

P.S. I am Casey Criswell's mom.

Mark: I was so sorry to read of your Mother's passing. Altho I didn't know her well,
I always smile when I am looking through my recipes and see one hand-written by
your Mom for "cheesey potatoes". Jerry had her copy that recipe with hopes I would
make them for him. Jerry spent many hours in your home, and I am thankful he had
you and your Mom as dear friends. Sending love and prayers, Janet Faulstich

Mark and Drew:

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I am saddened to hear of Laura's passing as she was undoubtedly one of the very best Play Therapy educators in the country. I have been blessed many times over just being in her presence. She had a God given gift of touching so many lives whether it be as a counselor or as an instructor. She not only taught us how to teach , but in doing so also helped each of us grow personally, relationally, and .spiritually.

She gave us many many memories to cherish. May you feel His presence daily as you heal from this loss.

Love,

Jean Halfast

Laura was my friend, and my mentor for the past 13 years. She taught me everything I know about sand therapy and helped be to become a play therapist. What an amazing lady and one who inspired so many. We will miss her always. May God bless you all. Thank you for Laura.
