Mrs Mannan was one of my favorite teachers. I believe she was the very reason for my love of reading! She was an amazing lady. I hope she and Bob will enjoy their first Christmas together in my years. May her children and grand children know what a difference she made in so many lives:-) Thank you Mrs. Mannan!

Betty, Bill. Barb. and Families,

My sympathy to you all. Your mom had an interesting life. She was always interested in learning something new and being involved. I know she passed that gift to you all. I will see at the memorial.

Condolences,

Deepest sympathy and prayers for each of you during this time of loss. Jane will be missed at CKH, she was a very dear gentle woman. she always had a gentleness about her, never complained, always positive. Jane loved her family, her God, and lived life as full as her body would allow. When the weather was nice she embellished being outside on the front porch. Jan was quiet, respectful and a very dignified woman. We shared prayer and woild reminisce about growing up in Morocco (Newton & Jasper counties). She was very humble about her art work which graced the walls in beauty. Jane will be missed.

Prayers & sympathy,

To Betty, Barb, Bill, and Extended Families,
We were sorry to read about Jane. We were connected through the years in many ways, especially through the church and Bob's friendship with Dick. Jane was also Peggy's English teacher and gave her a really great background for high school as well as college.

Jane truly had a calm, gentle, and friendly personality. Don't we all wish we could say the same? She was loved and respected by all who knew her and will always be remembered.

Barb, Very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Its always tough to lose a parent. I remember your mom very well and had her as a teacher. She was a good teacher and I know you are very proud of her. I know the holidays will be tough, but you also have much to celebrate as your mom had a long life and accomplished much. Take care and know I am thinking of you.

The community has lost a valuable member. I have good memories of teaching and working on piano with Betty and Barbara. I was looking forward to our daughter, Jacqueline having Jane as her teacher in 6th grade. Unfortunately for us, Jane chose retirement that very year, so we did not have the benefit of her teaching. Please be proud that you are a member of her family, and that you did have her for a long and productive life.

Mrs. Mannan was a great teacher and more importantly, a wonderful lady. She always inspired me to do my best and her class was always thought provoking and interesting. She made a huge impact on the many lives she touched! Thoughts and prayers are with your family.

My friend for many years. We talked of where she went to college , played golf, laughed about things in sorority, the things that happened at school, and there was never a nasty thought in her head about anyone or anything. A kind, loving, and giving individual. The bridge game was just that, a game!

I shall never forget her, nor will I forget her kindness.

May you all know that she was loved, thought of with smiles and love.
