To the Menser Family:

I just wanted to pass along my condolences to all of you on the passing of your dad. I remember Howard coming to our tennis matches. He was always at other Plymouth activities and was a big supporter of PHS. I know that the support of each other and your memories will help you all get through this difficult time. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My heart goes out to the family! Mr. Menser appreciated the need for education which is so essential to hope. The Bible holds out a hope that soon death will be no more (Revelation 21:4). May this hope bring the family comfort during this difficult time.

As a grade-schooler, I remember a kind man who took his wife, Jerry, and me to Rockies Games on Friday nights. A few years later, the same foursome went to Howard's basketball games and track meets. Only after returning to Plymouth in the late 1980's while working with Drs. Guild and Peterson did I realize this same kind man was one of Plymouth's Pillars. His nomination to the Plymouth Alumni Hall of Fame is well-deserved.

With great appreciation for many fond memories,
Brian Piazza

Dear Mrs. Menser and family,

It was my privilege to know and be taught my Howard. He taught by example as well as words. I remember him as a gentle man as well as a gentleman, both in and out of the classroom.

He was one of our class sponsors (class of ?57 ) and guided us to be creative in our efforts to make the prom of ?56 live up to its title, ?A Night to Remember'; and I have. I also remember the two of you being there, and in the eyes of a high school junior, you were the ?cutest couple' there that night.

As one of his respectful students, I'm glad we were able to share those years.
