Eric was with us a short time at Plymouth High School, but was so friendly, you couldn't help but to think of him as part of our PHS family. Several times he and I would start a "ditty" as a passing comment in the hallway about the day or the weather, and soon we both were finishing the entire verse of the song. I will miss having these exchanges with Eric in our hallways.

The USS Wainwright Veterans Association was blessed to have Eric participate in our reunions. By his doing so we learned of his caring manner, his attention to participation, the bonding with the shipmates of a different time period to become one in our group. It was a pleasure to learn of his laugh and smile. His name will be added to our honor roll and his name will be read each reunion. The bell will be tolled, also.
Hugs Angie, from all of us in our group.

Dear Angie and children, Jerry, Janice, Dan, David and all of the Arvesen family,

There is never a 'right' time to lose a loved one. It is even more pain-filled when a loved one dies so young. Please know thoughts and prayers are being sent from people who care about you. May these prayers and acts of kindness help you along this journey. May you hold on to the precious memories and the love you all shared with Eric. Let love be your strength.

Peace to you,
Bill, Lisa, Gabe, Ben and Nick Polzin
