Johnnie and Mary Ann & family ~
What a dear, sweet mother, grandmother and great-grandmother you celebrate this week! She & Glen have been such a encouragement, blessing and support to Steve & I for many years. They have been heroes in faith, ministry and in marriage. For many years we have said ?we want to become as sweet as the Johnsons? and often tease that we had better start practicing because time and age does not naturally move us that direction. They have been greatly missed for the past three years here in Alaska. As you say goodbye, we also mourn your loss but celebrate her home-going to join her Savior and her sweetheart, Glen. What a wonderful heritage you have! Thank you for sharing them with us all those years!
Blessings on you ~

My condolences to the family and friends of Dorothy.

I was so fortunate to have spent 25 yrs. with Glen and Dorothy, here in Alaska. They were the epitome of what it meant to be a Christian and lived their lives as true believers of Christ.
Through these years they were so gracious and such wonderful examples as a couple in love with each other, always thinking of the other one.
We shared many outdoor adventures that only Alaska can offer and Dorothy didn?t shy away from many of them. She was such a blessing to me in many ways. I loved her always welcoming me in her home, eating many a good home cooked meals when Glen and I were working on projects, splitting wood or coming back in from hunting or fishing.
It?s hard to talk about one and not the other because they were 2 peas in a pod. No doubt, the Lord united them and used them greatly across the world, from the Amazon River of South America to the frozen arctic of Alaska. Mere words are not enough to express my gratitude for being part of their lives. I?m glad Glen and Dorothy are together once again where they?ll spend eternity praising the One whom they served so faithfully for over 50 yrs.

I rejoicetho am also sadden ( because of our loss ) knowing Dorthy is now with the love of her life ...THe Lord himself and her blessed husband ! I was so privileged to have known them both for all their years in Alaska... they opened their home up to us and anyone else that needed love, meals, company, prayer , or a stick of candy !! Glenn and Andy shared so many steam baths together I couldn't count...and Dorthy always had a meal for them afterwards ! what a jewel she was...always doing for others and very shy about accepting from others . Yes I know you have a great heritage ,, honor it always ! with sincere condolences . Julia Selanoff
