Dear Beverly,

I was so very sorry to learn of Terry's sudden and unexpected passing. As you may remember, several of my 1961 classmates and I recently saw you and Terry out at Christos and Terry came to our table to say Hi and chat a bit. He looked well and was so gracious to us.......I guess that is why learning of his death is extra shocking as well as very sad to me. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time of loss.

Warm regards,

I knew and worked with Terry in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a wonderful person and true friend. I am honored for the chance of knowing, meeting and working with such a nice, gifted person. I will also remember his smile.

Bev,

I was so happy for you and Terry when I most recently learned of your marriage. Now I am deeply saddened by your lost.
I had corresponded with Terry by e-mail in 2010 in response to a condolence sent at the time of my brother Denny's death. At that time I was reminded of their Explorer Scout days and a trip in 1954 to Philmont Scout camp in New Mexico.
I will always remember Terry's infectious smile and the twinkle in his eye.
My heart felt condolences go out to you and Terry's family.

You and Terry's Old Neighbor,

My husband and I knew Terry in the Coast Guard Auxiliary in Nashville. He was a valued and respected member. I wish we'd known him better. He was a fine man.

Bev,

Words can't express how shocked and saddened we are to learn of Terry's death. The last I talked to you, you had such a sparkle in your eyes telling about your plans to get married to your high school sweetheart. And, in such a short span of time, life has all changed. Sooo sorry, Bev. Please be assured of our heartfelt thoughts and prayers.

Dear Beverly --
John and I had just gotten acquainted with you and Terry last season, and were looking forward to deepening the acquaintance beginning in the fall, when we all return to Florida. We were shocked to hear of Terry's sudden demise, and feel for you, as you must have been terribly shocked. Please accept our sincere condolences.
Terry was definitely one-of-a-kind! He was knowledgeable in so many ways, yet so down-to-earth and friendly. We will miss his friendly smile and genial manner.
