Sr. Stephen gave much of herself in service to others in Heath Care and in Administration of Hospitals and the PHJC religious community. I offer my deepest sympathy and prayer to her family and to all the Poor Handmaids as they grieve her loss and are consoled by her eternal life with our God.

My sympathy to Sr. Stephen's family and the Poor Handmaid community. My thoughts and prayers will be with you as I remember you tomorrow at the Heilborn and Blessed Catherine Kasper's shrine in Dernbach. Sr. Stephen was an incredible woman of vision and wisdom, creativity and compassion. She was a wonderful mentor. Her voracious appetite for reading inspired me greatly during my early years in the community when I lived and ministered with her. And umm....I'd imagine she's making heavenly bread and sharing it with all!
