Dear Pat, Dan, Beth & family,

I was saddened to learn of Cleon's passing. It is at times like these when we all have to stop and take stock of our lives. To appreciate the family & friends that we still have... as well as the ones we have lost along the way.

Please know that I have always appreciated your family. (Good grief I had to; we were neighbors.) What's more, I can honestly say that I loved & respected every member of your family... that is except for 'Freckles' the Basset Hound. That dog scared me to death. I may still need therapy.

Anyway, I have so many good memories of Cleon. (His love for his family, for guns & hunting, and his overall enthusiasm for life.) I will never forget him.

We were extremely saddened to here from Dan about Cleon. We were really glad that we stopped
by to see both Pat and Cleon in the fall of last year. Joan and I have many good memories of our
boating trips on Lake Michigan with the entire family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this very sad time.

I can only offer my condolences and sincere sympathy in your time of sadness,but know in your heart and mind that the good Lord took him before he would suffer any more. I did not know him, but I know his son and can tell he came from a good upbringing/family, which is a testament to him(and his wife). I am sure he will be missed by those who knew him. This passing only makes one appreciate those still here,so cherish those left.

To Pat, Dan, Beth, Terry, and Sandra and families - so sorry to hear of Cleon's passing. He will be missed by so many people. He was such a nice person and always good to me. He could always make me laugh with his jokes and stories. I still have some of his wood work that he made for me and I cherish those pieces. The gun box that was really a sewing box especially, that was a really funny one. I know Jenny & Tim & TeriJean will miss him too. He was a good person and well loved by everyone who knew him.
