Our heartfelt condolences to your family. Cam has childhood memories of Herb from our years on Ferndale Street. I also remember that as a child I rode my bike to your home on Sixth Street to play with Shellie and Sherrie. Happy that we have been acquainted for so many years with such a warm, caring family.
Peace,
Tammi and Cam Robertson

My condolences to the family. I went through school with Herb remember what a great guy he was. Herb was a friend to everyone and he will be missed. I pray that he had his spiritual values in order and if so, he is in Paradise now, free of pain and suffering.

my thoughts and prayers go out to Herb,s family.I have not seen or talked to Herb since 1962 when I joined the navy and sailed the seas but one thing came to mind when I read about his passing. In high school as Herb was one year behind my class I always remember his super quick wit.You could give him a quick one liner about some stupid thing going on in the world or school and he would come back with four or five quick witted things that would crack you up.He did have a unique way about how he handled things and his personality was something that I will always remember,Sometimes living so far away for so many years changes a few things but it sure does not change our memory of certain people,May this veteran rest in peace

We are so sorry for your loss. We will always remember him from the old 6th St. neighborhood fondly, resting on the front porch in the hammock. He was so funny the night he came over when the electric line was struck by a limb and ripped off our house and he came walking along in his bare feet to see if we were ok! Concerned for our safety, rather than his own, such a good guy. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time. He will be missed.

The (Kenneth) Ludwig family of Plymouth
