We went to St. Thomas Church with Mary. And she and my Mom, Connie Smith, were neighbors at Garden Courts. She was such a great lady.

Both Kenny & I are keeping all of Mary's family in our prayers.

It's been gloomy everyday in Texas since Mary has passed. It is hard to believe she is gone. She has touched so many lives in her lifetime, even up to her very last days. I know she's in sunny heaven and I can't wait to feel the sun on my face again to remind me of her love and friendship. I'm sad that I will not be able to attend the funeral but, will take care of Mary's grand cats while Nikki and Dave travel to Indiana. My prayers are with you and wishing everyone safe travels. I had hoped to be able to see Auntie when I come home to visit in a couple weeks but very sadly that is not to be. She will be missed tremendously, she was a big part of my life growing up. I looked forward to her yearly visits to Texas. I will always cherish the memories of her, especially when she came to visit me in New Orleans for Mardi Gras.

She is at peace now and no doubt catching up with Grandma Cooper, Uncle Bud, Uncle Stoney, Mamaw and Pappaw.

Nikki,

Words are so inadequate at this time of such great sorrow. Know that your mom is with God and all his angels and she will watch over you always.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

Words cannot express what my sweet Auntie meant to me. I loved this special lady and will miss her so much. From childhood, she and I had a very special bond and as I became an adult our bond grew even stronger. I have so many wonderful memories of the things we did, our long talks, and the places we went together. I wish I had been able to spend more time with her.

My sincere sympathy in the loss of your Mom. I worked with Mary at the old Parkview Hospital.
To know Mary was to love her, she had a way of getting into your heart....she always kept me laughing !! I visited her a few times at home & she showed me how she fed her dog at the table with a fork !!! hilarious!!
Paula was in my class when we went to school at Tyner Marjorie was in my sisters class also.
My thoughts & prayers are with you ...may your memories always keep you close to her.

So sorry to hear of Mary's passing. She was a very special lady. She and Hazel were such good friends during those many years in Tyner. I know they will be together again.

Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
