Dear Sue , Bill and the rest of the family,

I am very sorry to read of the passing of your dad. I don't think that I ever met him, but I can tell you that losing a parent, though a part of the life cycle, is never easy regardless of the circumstances. In the difficult days and months to come, I hope that you remember the good times that you had as a family. Use those memories and the strength of your family and friends to carry on. I don't know the circumstances of his passing, but I am sure that your dad found peace in being with the family and that he is at peace with God. As humans we are naturally selfish and want to keep everyone in our family with us. While God makes us give up our family to him though, our parents do not leave us in spirit. They not only have influenced as adults, but through us their influence can be seen in our grandchildren and beyond.
When my dad passed away, someone said to my mom that tears are the price we pay for loving someone!

I know that God will be with you and give you strength in the up coming days.

Bill was a stalwart father-in-law and a loving grandfather. When we talked, I was always blessed with honesty in his sparkling eyes and comfort in his deep resonant voice. I am a better man and a better father for having known him. My heart goes out to his family in their time of loss. May Bill now rest in the peace of God's loving arms.

Dear Anita, Susie, Brian and Bill,
I am so sorry for your loss, having lost my parents, I can understand what you're going through. Bill was a warm, loving, caring man and he proved that every day through his actions and words. He was the best thing that ever happened to my Mom (Bonnie). I am so glad he was by her side the last years of her life. Bill made her truly happy. I know all of you have many fond and loving memories of your Dad. He was truly proud of all of you. Remember the happy times!
You are all in my prayers.

I am sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I worked at the Brass Rail in Plymouth for 9 years and I always enjoyed Bill coming in to eat but mostly visit with us. He was a very soft spoken man whom I enjoyed chatting with. He was a very kind man who touched my heart and I am glad I got the chance cross his path.

Prayers to you and your family,
