Please know that this was an unexpected and extremely sad story to read in the newspaper. I don't know Ray's condition, but I send my heartfelt sympathy to him and their family. I will miss you, friends. And, the endurance and longivity of Alma continues to amaze me.

I was so sad to hear this. Katie was my best friend and I will miss her terribly. Prayers for the family and praying Ray gets better soon. She will be missed by many. She was a wonderful woman with many talents and a good friend to many. She was my lifelong friend and I loved her dearly. RIP Katie.

It's difficult to move on when you know they're gone ... gone beyond our reach, leaving this mortal world behind. But they have left us memories that no one can take away, memories that will bring forth a smile and conquer the painful tears.
