It was our honor and joy to have known Fred. He was a regular with his buddy Frank at my son's restaurant Shaggy's while it was open. We loved his many stories and wisdom and love of the Lord. Nick loved having coffee with him and Frank before anyone else came in. He had a great sense of humor. He was geniunely a good and honest man. What you saw is what you got. We will always be grateful for the time Fred touched our lives! God's Peace to all of you and may your memories bring you joy and comfort!!

We hope that you will find comfort in the many good times that you will be remembering. I remember the first time that Fred shook my hand in 1980 as we initiated a chain of events that would eventually result in our daughter Savannah born to my wife, Prelyn. and I. I remember the many pizzas that I made for Fred and the family. I remember the last, strong handshake...it seems like only yesterday. This Southern Gentleman is one of a few who have made a difference in my life. Thank you Fred. Rest in Peace.

To the family just want you to know he will be greatly missed by us girl's at Pak-n-Sak. We all greatly enjoyed the few minutes he spent with us and his great humor! May he rest in peace!
