Dear cousins, so sorry to hear about Aunt Annabelle. I have so many memories of going out to the farm when I was young and Grandma was still alive. It was such a different place since I lived in town. I still remember Grandma and Aunt Annabelle coming in to our house with a trunk full of chickens and Mom helping cleaning the chickens for our freezer. It was several days before I would walk in the back yard. Mom always said that Aunt Annabelle made the best custard pie, and I agree.

My thoughts are with you all.

Love

Hello to Rosalee and all your families. Please accept my sympathy is the loss of your Mother. I always recall coming to your home with my Grandma (Hazel Hoover) when I would get to stay at Grandma's for a couple days in my early years. I remember your Mother was always busy in the kitchen - perhaps making one of those pies referred to in the obituary! Anyway, I have good memories of the visits and wish you all peace and grace as you mourn your loss.

So sorry to hear of your loss Roger. This has to be one of the best obituaries I've read. She seems like she was a very loving, warm and compassionate person throughout her live. Hold on to the memories.

Rosalie, Fred, Marsha, Gary and anyone I may have missed.

I have a card ready to send to you,but always takes a while.
Sorry to hear about your Mom, I know you will miss her..Brings back memories of being neighbors,
buying eggs from your Mom ( and sometimes your Grandma ). And we all rode on the same school bus for many years.... Time passes and lots of miles between, but I still cherish those memories...
I will be thinking of you today as you say goodby to your Mom.
