Ellen and the entire Boos Family,
So sorry to hear of Gene's passing. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. The first vision that popped into my mind was lots and lots of ballgames over the years. Gene will certainly be greatly missed. Please know that I have you in my heart and prayers.

Jan,Randy,Barb and entire Boos family, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Please know that all of you are in my prayers at this most difficult time. As a boy,I remember the rivaly between the Church of the Brethern and Calvary Luthern Church fast-pitch softball games of the early '60s. My father pitched and played 3d base for Calvary. What great memories I have when those 2 teams played each other, as most everyone knew each and were friends. I've come to realize that a cather is the REAL leader of a team. A catcher sees everything from his point of view behind the plate. Gene was just that type of leader. He is probably organizing a game in heaven right now. I know he will be GREATLY missed. May your fond memories carry all of you thru this tuff time and beyond. Gods speed Gene.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Boos family over the loss of Pappy. He was always a kind and generous man, except when I tried to slide into home and score a run when he was catching. He was a man of high moral values and instilled it in his family. The Boos family has provided many fond memories over the years. Heaven is a richer place today, for I know that is where he is now.

I enjoyed playing softball with the Pallet's and Pappy was the big reason. He always had a positive
attitude and his sense of humor was second to none. When ever I will think of him I'm sure a smile
will come to my face. We had a lot of laughs together! R.I.P. Pappy!

To Ellen and the entire Boos family my thoughts and prayers are with you and I wish I could be there to attend the service. Pappy was such a huge influence during the years after my father died. He kept me included with the softball team by allowing me to tag along to games and tournaments and that kept me connected to my own dad. He always had a hug for me and always made me feel included. There are no words that can express how much that meant to me or to thank him for the time he spent with me. My dad had excellent taste in friends and I am forever grateful. You had an awesome dad and I was lucky to share a small sampling of that. I will always have a special place in my heart for Pappy.

Dear Aunt Ellen, Dave, Jan , Barb, Greg, Randy, and the rest of Boos gang. I am sorry I canot be with
you at the home going of uncle Gene, I would love to see everyone. It has been so long.
I certainly have very fond memories of uncle Gene and the farm, where we all had fun.
The family reunions, uncle Gene always teasing me. He was always smiling and was lots of
fun. His big "teddy bear" hugs. Grandma Boos certainly gave us some "wonderful men" as fathers.
You are in my thoughts and prayers ,he will be greatly missed.

Love to all

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I have fond memories of my favorite bus driver Mr. Boos. He was so kind, always had a hello and a goodbye as we boarded and exited the bus. He certainly earned the respect from all of us because we were treated with respect by him.

Dear Randy, Barb and All the Family,

Sorry to hear of your loss. Your Dad was a special person. I will never forget when he played on our Plymouth City League Basketball team when he was over 50 Years old. He had the best outside two handed set shot I've ever seen. And we were the only team able to beat the Collins boys! that year. He was a mentor for me when it came to keeping myself fit as I aged. What a great example for all the young men of our community.

Love and Prayers,

Ellen, Jan, Barb and Randy....

I just learned that Pappy has past. I'm sorry for your loss. I loved Pappy. He was my bus driver from the time I was eight years old untill I started driving myself to school. I remember those clear, blue eyes in the mirror watching us and making sure we were safe. I have many happy memories watching John, Randy and Pappy play fast pitch. Like John, Pappy will live on in our hearts and memories.

Bless you all.
