Heaven has gained another saint! My dear, Sister Lucille . . . my first school teacher at St George! I have many dear memories of my education at St George and of Sister Lucille. She always remembered her students, the lady had such a talent for remembering names! I ran into her 30 years later and she still knew me as little Jeanie Schwab!

My prayers for eternal happiness for a lady who dedicated her life to others!

So very sorry to hear about Sister Lucille's death. She was a wonderful lady! I remember her years at Our Lady of the Prairie in Belle Plaine, MN. She always had something nice to say, and a twinkle in her eye. I loved her sense of humor. I remember seeing her gently correct a young girl after Mass, after the girl had been talking during Mass. Sister was gentle, but firm--a good role model and a beautiful Christian. I also remember her walking in our school marathon, holding hands with a little handicapped girl--so special to see. She also had beautiful handwriting, even in her advanced years. Rest in peace, dear Sister Lucille. God bless you and comfort your family.
