It is with great sorrow I received the sad news of the sudden and untimely passing of Dave. I have started off each work day for 20 plus years with Dave. Generous in spirit, taking time to greet me with a heartfelt good morning. His warm hearted nature always remaining calm on the
days I rushed to add yet another stop to his long list of deliveries for the day. Bringing a peace to my day he was happy to be of service and quick to reply "no problem". A quiet approach to any challenges or difficulties. His courtesy-friendly professionalism was a constant. Genuine and dedicated. Ernest and hardworking. Dependable and solid. His actions spoke volumes of his character. It will be difficult to fill the void created by the loss of Dave but the light he brought into my life will remain with me. I will say a silent good morning to my co-worker with a smile. I know Dave's life journey, his final delivery route, lead him to the ultimate destination stop, Heaven
My thoughts and prayers are with the Robertson Family. May God's tender love and care surround each of you with comfort and peace at this difficult time.

Dave was my buddy. He was the best brother inlaw and was more like a big brother to me than anything. There will forever be such a large void in our family without him. Our family was so blessed to have him all these years. I am happy that he is not suffering with his ailments anymore but the sadness of losing him is almost more than we can bare. Every morning I wake up hoping it was all a bad nightmare but its real and we have lost someone so great. I love you Dave very much and thank you for all you have done for us all over the years. There will not be a day that I wont miss you. It was truly an honor to have you as family. I hope you have the biggest mansion, hoever I know in my heart you have probably already found something to fix. We love and miss you greatly buddy...

I can remember Dave very well when we went to church Bro. Don's churh in Chicago. I know that he was a man of God and a kind, gentle soul. "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". Dave has received his Heavenly reward but I know that hearts are broken. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I pray that God keeps you and comforts you in the days, weeks, months and years to come,
