I am so sorry! Cody was always so nice to me and we had many good times in school. He was always a gentleman while around me and offered to assist when he thought he could help. He did have fun, too!

Words are difficult at this time, however, as an educator we always hope that we somehow impact the lives of our students. More importantly, though, are those students that leave a mark on our lives as well. Cody is one student that I consider a privilege to not only have had as a student, but a young man in which I truly had the opportunity to learn from as well. Dear Lisa, Vince, Lacy, Carly, and Donny,
When we think of Cody, we remember how he treated others so kindly. Shelby shared with us some wonderful stories about Cody during their elementary, and Jr. High years together. She told us that in elementary school Cody would ask Shelby to play soccer with him and his friends, they made her laugh all of the time. Shelby also told us that Cody was nice to everyone, the kind of nice that was real, and from his heart. When Dave coached Noah in B Leauge, Cody happended to stop by when they were practicing one day. He asked Dave if he needed any help while he was waiting for his friends. He grabbed a mit, and played catch with the team, Cody ended up coming to as many practices and games as he could. The team thought he was awsome!! What a wonderful, caring, thoughtful, and compassionate young man. His smile came from his heart, what a blessing! We pray for memories to comfort you, and strength to carry you through.

Our thoughts are with you on this day. May you find comfort in God's promises to you, your son, and your brother. We didn't know Cody that well, but knew that he was a close friend of our son, Max. He made him laugh, alot!!!
I was there as they were all getting ready for the Argos Prom and he was being silly, right along with Max! Two peas in a pod!! I was glad to capture a couple of special photos from that night!

Hope that your memories of Cody lift you up and sustain your through the times ahead. I keep remembering all the fun times Mirna and I had with Cody and Lacy playing in our offices, coloring and drawing at the desk she brought in just for them. I still have a rock he charmed me into buying for $4.00 !!! Watching him swim this past winter was great and seeing the pride on your faces cheering him on was priceless regardless of who won the meet that day.

I was down on July 12-13 seeing my Mom at the Pilgrim Manor and heard of the loss of your grandson, Cody.
