Dan,

You truly will be missed! I thank you for being a best friend in my life. You have touched so many people in your life time and will always be remembered and loved. I send my greatest condolences to the family.

I am very sorry for your loss. Dan was a kind and gentle soul. I recall numerous stories from Marilyn about Dan as well as Mike and Susan, but I think Dan held a special place in Marilyn's heart. I hope he is at peace now and laughing and carefree with Marilyn.

Dan you will be missed by all of us, at all of our meetings. I called you earlier in the week about the Plymouth meeting setting up new guidelines for a meeting that had "derailed" due to a member changing the objectives of the program.

You offered to come the next day to support myself as well as the person who led the meeting. You even went the extra mile to come all week if I needed that support. I assured you that if you would just come that day that I would have the strength to carry on from that point.

You left our fellowship the Friday of that week. It is beyond many of us why God chose to take you at this time. You gave to the program 200% of your life. Tasks you were asked to perform, you absolutely put your whole heart in to complete.

Dennis who was with you, if you can, lend him a prayer of strength that it is "well and good" where you are, in the arms of our Loving Saviour Jesus Christ.

Rest in the arms of our Lord and Saviour. Know that we will meet at those Precious Gates of Heaven when time has called us all home.

Dan was not only a good sponsor to me, but a great friend. Although I was Dan's only sponcee, he helped many in the program as his Wednesday Night Group , called, "The Winners Group" will attest to. I'm sure Dan's with his Mom now laughing and playing cards, and helping as he did here, with troubled souls in Heaven. You will be missed Dan, Now help me find a new sponsor as good as you were.... df
