Bryan, Ted, Bobby & Sheryl, I was so sorry to hear about your mother. What an elegant lady she always was. I am sure you will have bittersweet days ahead as you mourn her passing while laughing about the good memories.

Kate was an amazing lady! Many many years ago I had her in Rainbow. I also know her through my Aunt, Sue Cochran. I always admired and respected Kate and I know she is safely in the arms of God!

Your Mom was a very nice lady. The kids in the neighborhood were always welcomed to hang out at her house. Whenever I went to the post office, she kept me up to date on all you kids. I will be praying for her and all of the family.

Many of my most treasured memories from childhood are of visits to Grandma Olson's house in Donaldson. These memories include especially warm hugs and affection from her as well as love from her kitchen in the form of lemon meringue pie, pumpkin pie, and rum cakes to name just a few.
She was and will continue to be a great comforting presence in life.

My condolences to the family. Aunt Kate was a very special lady and I always enjoyed our time when we visited. I am glad I was able to spend a little time with her last summer. She always had a smile. And growing up I remember that house in Donaldson where I loved playing in the front yard. Even more good times were when we all got together at Grandma's. All of us kids had to eat on the porch. It was crowded but we knew we were loved! The memories of family is sweet.

My love and sympathy to you all... Catherine was a large part of my life as a child. My mother Macel worked with her at the Donaldson post office and I made myself quite a nuisance visiting, asking to help with odd jobs, and just stopping by to say hello as often as possible. She was a sweet and gentle woman, always sharing that wonderful, comforting aura that shined from her smiles. What a wonderful sweetness she brought to all our lives.
