Moriarty Family and Friends,
We are all missing Pete today, and tomorrow will feel much the same...I am so sorry for our loss, the loss of a son, a brother and a friend that was a light to all of us. And the loss to the world as one of the most talented artists and creators has left us too soon. I am so thankful to God, that through Petes work, he will be here with us always.

All our memories of going to mass, ccd, being in band together, teaching Pete to bake a cake, all the art classes, after school talks, jokes he pulled, and just being together made my life growing up in Plymouth complete. He was one of the constants in my life, that only now have I realized. He was amazing.

Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers, and sending love and hugs from NC.

To Pete's family:
Pete was a great guy and very consistent, he had friends of all kinds. He was not only talented in art, but a heck of a fun guy. We'll never understand the way God works (Prov. 3:5), but we can at least have comfort that we'll see him again soon. I pray for the Moriarty family.
We?ll miss you Pete! See you soon.

Moriarty Family,
I'm truly sorry for your loss. I always looked up to Pete. His artwork always inspired me. I appreciated his encouragement and guidance as I developed my own work. I'm not sure I would have followed a career in art if it were not for his influence.
He was a great guy and I will miss him.

To Pete's family:

In talking to Pete's friends the last couple days I realize how much he touched all of us. He connected with each of us in a way that was very individual and special. Pete was so genuine and kind it was comforting to me to just be around him. My world is a better place for having known Pete. I will miss his smile, his laugh, giving him a hug, his wit.... so many things. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Dear Moriarty Family,
My heart has been heavy all week, since I heard about Pete. I have many wonderful memories of Pete, though, that I will cherish. Who could forget when he dressed up as the lion in the Variety Show? He was always doodling and we all knew he would be a professional artist. I visited the Chicago Art Institute recently, and I was thinking about Pete studying there 25 years ago. I must have been smiling, because someone commented to me that I looked so happy. I feel very fortunate to have known your son & brother. He was a good friend to many and will be missed. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

To the Moriarty Family,

I was shocked and and saddened to hear of Pete's death. I only remember him as Mark and Kathy's little brother, but know that he was so much more. Your family has been in my thoughts and prayers all week. May God lift your heavy hearts as he welcomes Pete into his arms.

With heartfelt sympathy.

It's been one year since Pete's service. I again read the deeply touching testimonials to my dear, sweet, talented nephew. I tried to keep the tears from coming but they just gushed forth. Thank you all for your heartfelt words of sympathy.

To Pete: I miss your big bear hugs --
and ranting about the Bears with you.
Watch over your Mom.

Love,
