The running joke about Bob was, "don't believe he is here until you see the whites of his eyes." You see, you just never knew where he was going to be or if he would show up. When Sarah spends hours at junk auctions, I guess I know where she gets it. With his retirement I enjoyed seeing him spend more time with his girls and grandkids. They certainly loved it too. I remember the times he'd visit and it just was always kinda special, especially during the era when you were not sure if he'd show up. So when he did it was exciting. Then as quickly as he arrived, he was gone.

Have a WhataBurger for me Bob.

Linda and family,

What great times Bob and I had cruising and carousing during our youth, maturing into manhood, in the wonderful decade of the 60's. Bob and I had a wonderful time when we spent one evening remisiscing, cathching up, laughing and sharing stores. That was in 1994, and the last time I saw Bob. We did however, visit from time to time after that on the phone.

Often times over the years as we move forward in our own lives we do lose contact with friends; and I am sorry for that. Linda, Kate, Emily and Sarah, and Mick and Linda, I am even more sorry to hear of your loss. May the blessed light and love of Jesus be with Bob, and let His spirit keep you all strong now.

Here is what Bob wrote in my Senior High School yearbook: "Green ones forever, a six-pack to go, see you later at the Mugness.....Hind-der-man".

Peace be with you all.

With fond memories,
