My son-in-law was with Jason in Aghanistan. He mentioned how wonderful of a "leader" Jason was. Our hearts truly go out to the dear friends and family. Just know he really did make a difference in his troops lives. Respectully, Jodi Taylor

Dear Tim, Diana, and Steve,

We are devastated to hear the news of Jason's passing. We have such warm, wonderful memories of the boys playing through elementary and junior high school. I will always remember Jason as a warm, loving, smart, fun, and helpful boy who grew up into a strong, loving, and giving man. Ty & I spoke of the fun home movies we still have of the two of them playing together.

We miss you all and wish we could be closer to express our thoughts to you in person. The loss is unimaginable, and we will keep you in our prayers in the days ahead.

Much love,
Mark, Cindy, Paige, & Ty Wagoner

My prayers are with all of you in your time of need. They struggle so much when returning from war. My husband is with the Plymouth National Guard unit and they are all considered brothers. To lose a life at such a young age is just so senseless, just know we are all praying for your recovery, and we thank Jason for his service to his country.

We are so very sorry to hear about Jason. He was very dear to all of us.
We will all have to hold onto all the memories we have about Jason. He alway gave us that great smile and was a good friend to both Sarah and Charley. We are proud to hear about his service to our country. You should be very proud of him.
In these very hard days ahead of you please hold on to the fact that you were blessed to have him in your life. You were all blessed to have him as your son and brother.
God Bless and keep you in his loving care.

To the Nemeth Family,

When Jason first came into the Indiana Army National Guard, he was assigned to my unit in Logansport. He was also a college student and we talked a lot about his becoming an officer. I think all of us recognized his potential to be not only a great Soldier but a great leader as well. During the time I was there, he always set a great example and, from what I heard about on the deployment, inspired a lot of other Soldiers as well. This led to his promotion to Sergeant which was absolutely well-deserved.

I am so sorry for your loss. He will be tremendously missed by his National Guard brothers.

Respectfully,

I worked with Jason at the Sheriff's Department. As I grew to know him, I recognized and was inspired by his dedication to his country and fellow man. I also knew that he came from a strong family unit from the stories he shared. It is hard to find the words to offer at a time like this, but I hope you find comfort knowing it was obvious to me you raised a wonderful young man. As they have been this entire week, my thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you all.

Dear Diane and family,

You and I have worked together only a short time and I did not want to intrude upon your family today, but I did want you to know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers and my heart is breaking for you. May the Lord give you the strength to go on. God is near to the broken hearted (Psalm 34:18). He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3)

My name is Dia Cooper and I briefly worked with Jason. He was a very nice person and we would sometimes speak about his military experience because I have family in the military. Even though I did not know him very long, I was saddened to hear of his passing. My condolences and my prayers go out to his family and his friends.
