Obituary

Linda D. Edington

August 7, 1972 - June 26, 2016

Linda D. Edington, 43, passed away after a 10 year courageous battle with cancer, with her family by her side, on Sunday evening June 26, 2016 in their home.

Linda was born on August 7, 1972 in Hampton, Virginia to Kenneth Mount and Evelyn Evans.

On May 23, 1993 in Plymouth, Linda became the bride of Eric L. Edington. They would welcome four girls to their family. Through raising her girls, Linda also went back to Plymouth High School to attain her GED in 1995. A very proud achievement for her.

Once her girls were in school, she would work for the RV Industry. But she always made sure they were her number one passion and had so much pride in watching her girls grow into women. She attended many of their sporting events and went on many great family vacations. She loved to spoil her grandbabies and color and do puzzles with them. Linda was a very witty, smart woman who didn’t hesitate to set your straight with love.

Eric and she were members of the former Mount Pleasant Church of the Brethren in Bourbon, where she was baptized.

Linda is survived by her devout husband of 23 wonderful years, Eric, and their four daughters: Ashley Edington of CO, Britney (Zachary) Clark of VA, Cassadi Edington of Bourbon and Samantha Edington of Bourbon; her father, Kenneth (Paula) Mount of AZ; her three precious grandbabies: Ayva, Chaelyn and Emilia; and her sister, Dawn Mount of IL and brother, Mike Mount of IN.

She was preceded in death by her mother in 2015.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday July 1, 2016 in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan Street, Plymouth. Funeral services will immediately follow in the funeral home at 7.

Memorial contributions can be made in her honor to Fight Colorectal Cancer, 1414 Prince St., Suite 204 Alexandra, VA 22314.
